Strategies for Property Investment

Are you thinking of investing in property, but not quite sure how to go about it? Here are a few tips that could get you started.

“What is my objective?”

“What do I want to achieve from property?”

“…and over what time frame?”

Now really think about the answers!

Is your objective to leave your day job, or earn some passive income?

Do you want to own assets, or just generate some cash flow? Do you want the responsibility for the assets?

Thinking through your outcome will help you set a strategy to achieve that outcome. As Stephen Covey said in his ‘The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People’: Begin With the End in Mind.

Begin With the End in Mind means to begin each day, task, or project with a clear vision of your desired direction and destination, and then continue by flexing your proactive muscles to make things happen.
